Everything was great! The location is a bit far but has free parking, which is a huge plus. The staff, especially the kitchen guy, made our stay perfect with his kindness. The room was clean, and the view was just beautiful! 😊

the breakfast room is like a cafeteria, with barely any replenishment. also, i endured a grueling uphill journey just to reach my room, and frankly, i expected more for the price. i almost considered giving a good review, but the lack of a welcome gift or any special treatment dashed those hopes.

Great for Family with kids
The grounds are stunning! ! We spent hours just soaking in the views over Florence. It was plentiful with hard boiled eggs and great selection of bread and coffee.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but you get what you pay for.

The standout features were the spacious, clean room and the amazing breakfast that included fresh, homemade local products. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the bus stop, which provided easy access to the city center. However, the initial room had an overwhelming artificial fragrance, and there was a lack of essential shower gel provided. While parking was convenient, the bed, made of two singles, could have been better designed.

view of Florence, functional rooms, convenient bus access
Access is a workout!!! Steps at various locations in the hallways make it inconvenient. Toilets leaking create unpleasantness!!! The hotel's missionary past gives a unique vibe but may feel unwelcoming to some!!! Extra facilities like robes would elevate comfort!!!

I stayed in a Twin/Double Economy room at Villa La Stella for 7 nights, and it was perfectly located for daily visits to the center of Florence. The regular bus down from Fiesole made the journey a breeze, taking about 15 minutes. Breakfast was generous, featuring fresh croissants, and the staff were friendly and helpful!
Lack of shower gel.

I had a fantastic stay! The breakfast was really diverse and tasty, and I loved the idea of the peaceful ambiance, but the noisy terrace was a bit annoying at night.

It was just an appropriate option for a temporary stay in Florence with great value for the money. The reception staff were very helpful and went out of their way to assist with directions and local tips. Don’t forget to bring your own shower gel, as it’s not provided in the rooms.
